Origins of Names:

 
Hermes: Greek god of trade, riches, and good fortune, also the messenger or herald of the gods, and as Psychopompos, the conductor of the shades of the dead in Hades. He is respresented wearing the petasos, or broad-brimmed traveler's hat, and winged sandals. He usually carries the herald's staff (caduceus), intertwined with ribbons or serpents.
Jason: The Captain of the ARGONAUTS. He fetched the Golden Fleece in Colchis and took with him the Colchian princess Medea, whom he married. Later however, it occurred to him that such a brave and handsome and noble man as himself should not have as wife a foreigner and sorceress such as Medea, and that is why he had the fatal idea of marrying the younger Corinthian princess Glauce 4.
Olympus: The mountain range between Macedonia and Thessaly in northern Greece, where Zeus and his generation of gods had their palaces. Mount Olympus is Greece's highest mountain.
Orpheus: King of the Ciconians, is counted among the ARGONAUTS. Orpheus practiced minstrelsy and by his songs moved stones and trees, holding also a spell over the wild beasts. He descended to the Underworld in order to fetch his dead wife, but had to return without her.
